This won't hurt a bit !

A dental practice in London was recently broken into via a vulnerable glazed front door.

Doors with large glass panels are often overlooked as easy access for burglars, and business owners and managers can be reluctant to barricade a main entrance for fear of putting off prospective customers. And let's face it, not everyone rushes to visit the dentist!

Security and safety specialist Fingershield UK Ltd installed a Security Shield Vandal™ window guard which discreetly protects the glass panel without obscuring the natural light or looking out of place.

Access to the door handle, lock and letter box is effected by a series of neat cut-outs.

The practice manager wrote:

Dear Mark,

I am pleased with the product.  I did see the sample of the security shield but found it difficult to picture it on the door. I was a little confused about the colour as I was expecting it all in white but black is a better colour as it creates a reflection effect.

Our patients have not noticed any thing different about the door!!!

With regards to installation, this was carried out at lunch time which had no interference with the practice’s patients.

Communication was good and timely, relevant explanations were given as and when needed.

We have had no attempted break ins as yet!! Hopefully, this will keep them away.

Thank you, for your service.
